LinkedIn Lesson 2 – Using Groups To Research The Market

LinkedIn is by far my most favoured of all social media tools when it comes to business. I use it daily, from reading helpful articles to managing my contacts. This week my top tip for LinkedIn is to use groups to research the market.

To find groups on LinkedIn, begin by entering relevant  keywords or the name of a known Group into the search bar. From here you will be presented with  a drop down menu of results, including People, Companies, Pages and Groups.  Upon joining a group you will be able to participate in discussions and connect with other members, making them an excellent tool for exploring an unfamiliar market. Joining groups that are relevant to your interests or industry will enable you to gain useful  contacts and really do your research before launching a business or project in the new market place!
